WEST Ham United striker Jordan Hugill has completed a season-long loan move to Championship side Middlesbrough.
The striker, who joined the east Londoners from Preston North End on transfer deadline day in January, will be looking to play a key role as Tony Pulis’ side eye a return to the Premier League.
The 26-year-old will link-up with former Hammers Darren Randolph and Stewart Downing at his hometown club.
And Hugill is sure to set his sights on success at the Riverside Stadium, having helped Preston to win promotion via the League One play-offs in 2015.
Hugill’s departure comes just days after Saed Haksabanovic joined Spanish side Malaga on loan.
James Collins and Patrice Evra have also been released, while Cheikhou Kouyate has joined London rivals Crystal Palace this summer.
West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini is looking to strengthen his side ahead of tomorrow’s transfer deadline.
