SUNDERLAND manager Roy Keane may have Carlos Edwards and Craig Gordon back in his squad for Sunday's Premier League clash with West Ham United.

Trinidad and Tobago winger Edwards has been re-called from a loan spell at Championship promotion-chasers Wolverhampton Wanderers, while Gordon is back in full training following an ankle injury.

Edwards, who played six games while with the Molineux outfit, played for his home nation in their midweek international against Cuba.

Gordon, meanwhile, has been out of action for the past six matches after breaking down in training.

Should the £9million Scotland international be passed fit, he would take the place of Hungary international Marton Fulop.

Edwards will battle Fulop's former Tottenham Hotspur team-mate Steed Malbranque for a place on the right flank.

Keane is also expected to decide between Republic of Ireland international Andy Reid and England midfielder Kieron Richardson for a place at the heart of the Black Cats' midfield.

Up front, Frenchman Djibril Cisse and Trinidad and Tobago hitman Kenwyne Jones are expected to be paired for the second time in the Premier League this season after both scored in last week's 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers.

At the back, former Irons left-back George McCartney is set to miss out with a foot injury, but ex-Hammer Anton Ferdinand is expected to continue in his regular role at centre-back.
