Jack Collison (knee) and Junior Stanislas (hernia) again miss out with long-standing injuries.
Zat Knight and Mark Davies return to the Bolton squad.
Knight has been troubled by a knee injury and Davies an ankle problem.
Ricardo Gardner is also in contention after returning from a loan spell at Preston.
But Stuart Holden, Sean Davis and Sam Ricketts remain sidelined through injury.
