HADLEIGH’S Olympic mountain bike course will host the British Championships on Sunday.
Olympic star Annie Last will be looking to defend her mountain bike cross-country title on a course where she finished eighth at the London 2012 Games.
The course will not bring back such happy memories for Liam Killeen, however.
Killeen crashed out of the Olympic mountain bike race three years ago and has not hit the same heights since.
However, the five-time British champion will be looking to give pre-race favourite Grant Ferguson a run for his money in the men’s race.
As well as the senior men and senior women’s race, there will be under-23 races for both the men and women.
The women’s race starts at 1.15pm and the men’s race at 3pm. Junior races start from 9am.
