SOUTHEND golfer Matt Southgate picked up from where he left off as he made the cut and finished four under part at the Trophee Hassan II competition in Morocco.
The Thorpe Hall Golf Club member, who secured his best ever pot of 28, 848 at the Shenzhen International last month, added 15, 150 to his prize fund for the season last week with a third round of 71 his best of the weekend.
Southgate will return to action at the AfrAsia bank Mauritius Open at the Four Seasons Golf Club, starting today.
He tees off at 8.45am UK time, alongside Chiragh Kumar and Vaughn Groenewald.
Brooks continued his fine run in the last two months as he made the cut for the five straight tournament to finish seven over par.
Brooks, who will now, took home 8,4000 euros for his efforts in Morocco.
Basildon’s Richard McEvoy came tied 47th with eight over par, worth 6,600 euros. He begins in Mauritius at 9.35am UK time, along with Siddikur Rahman and Oliver Bekker.
