ROCHFORD Hundred defeated Stoke by Nayland to secure their place in the third round of the Thornton Challenge Cup.
Rochford took a 3-2 lead in the morning foursomes in the second round of the county inter-club tournament on Sunday.
Paul Day and Josh Hickling won 3/2 and Taylor Carter and Jack Dyer won 4/3, while Chris Chaplin and Mark Walden overcame being four down at the turn to win one up.
The afternoon singles saw Carter win 7/6, Hickling 6/5, Andrew Frye 2/1 and Spencer Wells 6-5, with his brother Tom Wells beating Stoke's star player 3/2 to secure a 10-5 victory.
Rochford Hundred are at home to The Essex in the third round on June 19, with the winners going through to the quarter-finals.
