FORMER captain Tony Allum earned a three stroke handicap reduction to 15 after winning the morning stableford on Thorpe Hall’s Captain’s Day.
Allum scored 42 points to take the honours in the 100-strong field. Adam Lintern (8) was second with 40 points and Martin Maynard (13) third with 39 points.
The Captain’s team of Gurmit Chana, Iain Evans (General Manager), John Fryatt (Club Professional) and Chris Wright (Course Manager) started the afternoon Texas Scramble.
