WOLVERHAMPTON Wanderers have confirmed the signing of Southend United striker Freddy Eastwood.

The Molineux club have agreed a four year deal with the former Grays Athletic forward.

And the move - which will earn Blues £2million - also includes a 25 per cent sell on clause.

"It's a real shame that we have lost a player of Freddy's ability but it's the right time to let him go," said manager Steve Tilson.

"He has been different class for us and his record speaks for itself. It's fantastic and we wish him well at Wolves.
