SS8’S first fight night was a knock out success as hundreds of spectators crammed into the Paddocks Community Centre to watch a succession of entertaining bouts.
Twelve fights took place across a variety of disciplines at the Canvey Island venue with 11 of them going the full distance to keep the crowd entertained.

The fighters ranged in ages and ability with many youngsters taking part in the opening bouts of the evening, which was put on by Halestorm promotions, before the more experienced men took centre-stage.
Loui Horton,11, from Pitsea, won the bout of the night award after impressing in his K1 win against Zane Pircha while Paul Appleton won fighter of the night for his win over Connor Moss.
