STOCK Shotokan Karate Club added nine trophies to their ever-expanding trophy cabinet at the Essex Karate Cup Open Championships in Clacton.
Nine-year-old Skye Taylor won the first place trophy for children's Kata for the Thundersley club, with Sensei Adam Purkiss also taking first place in the Veterans Kata event.
Samuel Campbell, 17, took second place in the Pairs Kata along with Purkiss, while eight-year-old Henri Goddard and Connor Coleman, seven, came third in their Pairs Kata category.
Henri also took third place in the Individual Kata, with Bethany King, 15, claiming third in the black belt kata and Emily Stanford, eight came third in her first attempt at Kumite.
