TSG coach Dan Burzotta fully expects Walter Gahadza’s latest battle to entertain a bumper crowd in Birmingham.

Gahadza, who trains at the Westcliff venue with Burzotta, faces Terry Brazier in the cage this Friday.

And Burzotta believes it will prove to be a fight to remember.

“Everyone is really excited about this fight and everyone thinks it has ‘fight of the night’ written all over it,” said Burzotta.

“Terry Brazier is an ex soldier who is coming in off seven wins but Walter is in great shape too so it’s going to be a great fight”

The bout - which is being shown live on Dave TV - will also see Gahadza back in action for the first time since December.

And Burzotta feels Gahadza could not be in better shape.

“Walter has just got back from America,” said Burzotta.

“He was out there for three weeks, training three times a day alongside some of the top UFC fighters.

“He’s been working with Tyrone Spong, a K1 legend and wrestling all the top guys too so it’s been a brilliant camp for him.

“He’s been back for about a week now and we’ve just been going through the finishing touches.

“We’re really pleased with how it’s gone and now we’re all looking forward to getting to Birmingham.”

Gahadza is also keen to triumph having suffered the first defeat of his career in his last outing.

The ‘Sniper’ was beaten on a split points decision against Nathan Jones in Dublin.

And Burzotta now feels Gahadza should not have taken on the fight during his return from a cruciate ligament injury which saw him spend a year on the sidelines.

“Walter has fought three times since the injury but he wasn’t at 100 per cent and I think he fought too soon,” said Burzotta.

“He hadn’t fully recovered and there were certain things we couldn’t do.

“In hindsight, we should probably have taken a break but you live and learn.

“Walter lost his last fight against a local favourite but, honestly, I think we were robbed.

“Some of the top refs were saying he should have won but you have to take these things in your stride.

“However, everything is fine with Walter now and he’s definitely back on track.

“We’ve gone back to the drawing board, made some adjustments and are coming back twice as strong.”
