SOUTHEND Saxons made it three wins in a row by beating Launceston 22-21.
The victory was the Saxons’ first on the road this season and moved them up to 10th in the National Two South standings.
Westcliff were also celebrating in National Three London & SE as they saw off Guernsey 34-17 at the Gables.
In London One North, Thurrock were seen off 37-12 at home to Letchworth Garden City but, in London Two North East, Rochford Hundred edged out Campion 24-23.
However, South Woodham Ferrers were beaten 46-17 at table topping Norwich and Basildon lost 30-13 at Saffron Walden.
In London Three North East, Billericay lost 37-27 at home to Lowestoft & Yarmouth while Pegasus Palmerians beat Millwall 31-29 in Essex One.
