MIKE Stanley has been selected in Samoa’s starting line-up for their Rugby World Cup clash against South Africa on Saturday.
Stanley, a former Gable Hall School pupil, came off the bench during Samoa’s 25-16 win against USA last Sunday.
But the ex Southend and Thurrock fly half will now be starting against the Springboks who will be bidding to bounce back from a shock defeat to Japan.
The match is being played at Villa Park and will be shown live on ITV, kicking off at 4.45pm.
