WESTCLIFF resume their National Three London & SE campaign at Shelford tomorrow.

Westcliff, who lost three of their last four games before Christmas, sit 12th in the 14 team table.

And their director of rugby Nick Sigwart is keen for his side to bounce back at sixth placed Shelford as they look to work their way out of the relegation zone.

“This should be a good game for us to shake off the Christmas break,” said Sigwart.

“Shelford beat us at home but it was a game that we felt we underperformed in so we will be looking to put that right.

“They are traditionally a strong club and their form has been ok.

“We also know they will be targeting us so nothing but a good performance will do for us this time.”

Westcliff head into the game with prop Randal Whitmore, second rows Rupert Edwards and Rory Lane and centre Buster Reynolds, who is also captain, back in contention.

But they will be without the in-form George Parmenter for the rest of the season as he has now departed to travel Australia.
