THURROCK were held to a third stalemate in four games after drawing 14-14 with bottom of the table Sudbury in London One North.
The share of the spoils saw Thurrock slip down to sixth in the table and disappointed coach David Mobbs-Smith.
“It’s unbelievable that we have drawn these three games and it’s a strange feeling too as each of the games were winnable,” said Mobbs-Smith.
“We can’t keep dropping these points when the game is there to be won.
“But the positive side of this is that we have only lost three games in the first round of fixtures this season and we know we can play a lot better.
“Barking at home this week will be a tough local derby but we need to win the game to ensure that we stay in touch with the top half.
“The team will be re-focusing this week as we lead up to the game and we want to put Barking under pressure from minute one.”
