ROCHFORD Hundred face a crunch clash at Holt this weekend.

Hundred head into the game just one point and one place above the London Two North East relegation zone.

And Rochford’s first team manager Graham Pratt is therefore eager to triumph against Holt who are second from bottom in the standings.

“We’re looking to improve our position in the table with a good win but that will be easier said than done because Holt are always strong at home,” said Pratt.

“We won against them at home earlier on in the season and, with our team playing some impressive rugby at present, we’ll be concentrating our minds to get a good result.”

Rochford saw off third placed Cantabrigian 24-5 in their last outing and will now be keen to secure another crucial victory.

Hundred will be missing Sam Edwards, Matt White and Daniel De-Bellefontaine this weekend but Jack Doherty will return at scrum half, allowing Steven Jay to move to stand off.

In London One North, sixth placed Thurrock will be looking to end a run of three successive defeats when they host Fullerians who are ninth.

In Essex One, Billericay host Braintree, Canvey Island are at Old Brentwoods and Stanford le Hope entertain Clacton.
