DANNY Cleare is keen to help Rochford Hundred continue their stunning start to the London Two North East season this weekend.
Table-topping Rochford - who host third placed Harlow tomorrow - have triumphed in all seven of their league games so far this season.
And player coach Cleare has been thrilled by the team’s form.
“We have started really positively,” said Cleare.
“Our main ethos has been to play an exciting brand of rugby and to enjoy what we’re doing.
“We know we have a strong squad so the main thing is to keep people grounded and set our own standards.
“I’m really enjoying coaching the team.
“Mike Guess and Chris Green have given me Carte Blanche to run the attack how I want and that’s allowed me to try some new things and throw the ball around. As a result of our style we have scored some cracking tries which is pleasing on the eye.”
And Cleare - who is currently sidelined through injury - is now demanding more of the same against Harlow.
“We all know if we play well we win the game,” said Cleare.
“That being said Harlow have had some decent results as of late so we’ll respect that and make sure we approach the game professionally.”
