ANTHONY Grant was stretchered off with a head injury during yesterday's 1-1 draw at Torquay United.
And the midfielder is now doubtful for Tuesday night's home clash against Barnet.
Grant suffered a kick to the head from Gulls skipper Lee Mansell in the 58th minute and manager Paul Sturrock confirmed the former Chelsea man was too concussed to be able to continue.
“Anthony got a kick to the head and will definitely be a bit sore for a while,” explained the Blues boss.
“He was concussed and cut as well so the doctor advised us to bring him off and you would have to say he could be in trouble for the game on Tuesday now”
Grant is likely to be replaced by Lee Sawyer who also came on for him against Torquay.
But his team-mate Barry Corr was less sympathetic about the midfielder's injury.
“He got a cut to the face so it's just as well he isn't that good looking any way,” joked the striker.
