PICTURES show flooding across south Essex after Storm Alex tore through the county.
The Echo has seen pictures of high water levels in Southend, Billericay, and on Canvey from the weekend.
Residents woke up on Sunday morning to find roads and car parks flooded.
A yellow weather warning was issued across Essex from Friday.

Buttsbury Wash ford in Billericay was flooded on Sunday morning, with water levels at around four foot deep.

The car park at Southend's Sea Life Adventure was also flooded on Sunday morning after overnight rain.
A spokesman from the school, said: "The school is closed today, Monday 5 October due to flooding.
"No students or staff are to attend the site.
"Students will be able to access work via the school VLE and Show My Homework."
