Police teams raided a unit in Canvey and found a stolen vehicle in parts along with suspected Class A drugs.

Officers from the Op Falcon team, alongside crews from the Stolen Vehicle Intelligence Unit and OSG (Operational Support Group) stormed the unit on Point Road yesterday (January 10).

Here, they located a vehicle believed to be stolen from Canvey in November in seperate parts, along with a large quantity of suspected Class A drugs which were seized at the site.

The force made an arrest, before releasing the individual from custody under investigation.

A spokesperson from Essex Police said: "A great result yesterday. Your Op Falcon team along with the Stolen Vehicle Intelligence Unit and OSG executed a warrant at a unit on Point Road, Canvey, yesterday.

"A vehicle stolen from Canvey in November has been located and as you can see it’s in parts as well as a large quantity of suspected Class A drugs have been seized.

"A suspect has been arrested and released from custody under investigation whilst we carry out forensic work."
