A GROUP of men have been charged after a firearm, cash, and tens of thousands of pounds worth of drugs were discovered.
Officers in Essex Police's disruptor team carried out raids at a number of locations in Basildon on Tuesday.
During the operation they seized a firearm, a thousands of pounds in cash, and cocaine and cannabis with a street value of £200,000.
Mario Tsorri, 28, of Norwood End, Basildon has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, possession with intent to supply a Class B drug, possessing ammunition for a firearm, and a possession of firearm offence.

Three other men men – Alfonc Palaj, 23, Emanuel Rossi, 31, both of Norwood End, and Klodjan Doci, 26, of Courtney Park Road, Langdon Hills – have all been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
Rossi was due to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court today, while the other three are all due to appear at the same court tomorrow.
