Nevendon Road, Wickford
EMERGENCY services are at the scene of an incident on a busy main road this morning.
Several police cars and ambulances are at the scene on Nevendon Road in Wickford, near the junction to Oakhurst Drive.
The Echo has seen reports that a pedestrian was hit by a car around 8.30am.
However this has yet to be confirmed.
Traffic is building along Nevendon Road, part of which is closed due to roadworks.
