An armed gang threatened people at an address in south Essex and made off with money and valuables in the early hours this morning.
Officers are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary in South Ockendon.
It was reported four people broke into an address in Love Lane at about 2.35am today (Wednesday, July 6) armed with a large knife and a crow bar or wrench.
They threatened the people inside and demanded money and valuables.

They then made off with jewellery, an electric bike, cash and Dolce and Gabbana bag worth a three-figure sum.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We need anyone who saw anything or has any CCTV, dash cam, or doorbell footage to contact us."
