Two lanes on a major road in Essex are shut as emergency repairs are taking place.
One lane closed earlier today due to emergency repairs on the M25 anticlockwise before junction 28 A12 (Brentwood / Brook Street Roundabout).

Another lane was later closed. Two lanes on the M25 are now shut for the repairs.
Motorists are facing slow traffic with delays almost to junction 30 (A13).
It is unclear why the emergency repairs are taking place. National Highways has been contacted for comment.
