SOUTHEND Airport is set to host the popular Red Arrows for the first time as they use the city as a base as part of an Airshow.
The RAF Red Arrows display team will be based at Southend Airport tomorrow, and Saturday, as a base for the Eastbourne Seafront Airshow.
According to the Red Arrows Display Schedule, they are due to land at Southend at approximately 5:07pm, before taking off to head to Eastbourne at approximately 4:17pm on Saturday.

The Red Arrow will then make their return back to Southend Airport around an hour later at approximately 5:09pm on the Saturday evening.
Residents will be able to catch a glimpse of the Red Arrows as they leave and enter Southend Airport.
Eastbourne Airshow will take place from Thursday, August 18 until Sunday, August 21.
It is expected to attract huge crowds, with it to boast a 2-mile flying display line along Eastbourne seafront.
The display is set to include the RAF Red Arrows, RAF Typhoon, and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
