DRIVERS are being urged by Essex Police to add “security features” after a rise in Ford Kuga thefts.
Essex Police has noticed a rise in Ford Kuga thefts, in particular 2016-2018 models, across the Castle Point area.

It is being recommended that drivers add features such as steering locks, OBD protection, and use faraday pouches.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We have seen a rise in Ford Kuga thefts in the Castle Point area.
“These are 2016-2018 models.
“The method in which these are stolen cannot be prevented by using faraday pouches, so we recommend adding security features such as steering locks and OBD protection.”
