Police have reported a driver who stopped on the hard shoulder of the M25 to answer a "call of nature".
Essex Police officers have reported a driver who they say stopped this morning on the hard shoulder of the M25.
While this is "never a good place to stop", officers report the motorist was stopping to answer a "call of nature" less than a minute away from public toilets.
A roads policing unit spokesman said: "This driver chose to answer a call of nature however chose to stop on the hard shoulder of the M25.
"Never a good place to stop.
"But he was less than a minute away from public toilets which would have been better suited to his needs than the verge.
"Driver reported."
