OFFICERS investigating an assault which saw a man rushed to hospital after his car was snatched have released CCTV images of four people they want to speak to.

Essex Police were called to High Street, Hadleigh, last Tuesday, May 9, after receiving reports a man had been seriously injured after a robbery.

The incident, which happened near the Thomas Moore Church car park, was reported at around 5.20pm.

The victim was driving when he was approached by four people who assaulted them before stealing the car – a white Nissan Juke.

Some of the suspects left the scene in another vehicle, believed to be a blue Ford Focus.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “Officers investigating an assault in Hadleigh earlier this month are releasing CCTV images of four people they want to speak to.

“Officers were called to Hadleigh High Street at around 5.20pm on Tuesday, May 9, following reports of a person that had been seriously injured following a robbery of his vehicle.

“He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.”

They continued: “If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.

“Please quote the crime reference number 42/83372/23.”
