A BREWERY says it aims to “reopen it as quickly as possible” after it closed suddenly with no notice to punters.
Star Pubs and Bars, part of Heineken UK, are the brewery behind the Woodmans Arms in Rayleigh Road, Benfleet.
The Woodmans Arms closed suddenly this week, with operator making a statement on social media stating, “it is time to move on to pastures new”.

However, the brewery behind the popular pub, says they are aiming to reopen it as quickly as possible after the operator advised them, they were closing the pub.
Star Pubs & Bars are now on the hunt for a new independent operator to run the Woodmans Arms.
In a statement, they said: “The Woodman’s Arms, Benfleet is leased to an independent operator who advised us they were closing the pub earlier this week.
“We are aiming to reopen it as quickly as possible.”
The Woodmans Arms pub has been welcoming guests since 1874, according to its website.
