A former florist in Southend is set to be converted into a new flat as plans have been unveiled.

The unit, which was the former Eileen Rose Florist, has been vacant for at least 3 months according to the planning application.
If the plans are approved, the shop will be converted into a one-bedroom studio flat. R

An unattended noise survey has been conducted at the site, which indicate that the internal ambient noise level requirements can be achieved with "suitably-specified external façade constructions, glazing systems and trickle ventilators".
It became a florist after the Pole Position Clothing motorcycle shop shut its doors.
Southend Council will have the final say on the plans.
