A biker was rushed to hospital with injuries after a crash with a car in a busy Rayleigh road.
Drivers faced delayed yesterday morning into the early afternoon as Eastwood Road was blocked due to an "incident".
Residents reported seeing a police car and an ambulance in the road.
Essex Police has confirmed a motorcyclist, in his 20s, was taken to hospital with minor injuries after a crash with a car in the road at about 11.40am.

Anyone who has any information which could help the force's investigation is urged to call 101.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We were called to Eastwood Road, Rayleigh, following reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike at around 11.40am on Monday 6 November.
"The rider, a man 20s, sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
"Anyone who has information that could help our investigation is asked to call 101 and quote incident 417 of 6 November."
