GREAT Wakering Rovers are through to the last eight of the FA Vase after a thrilling 3-2 win at Highworth Town.

Kingdom Dawson fired Wakering into an early lead before the hosts equalised in the 33rd minute with Sol Pryce on target from the penalty spot after Luke Whelan had been brought down in the box.

Harry Talbot put Wakering back in front before the break but Highworth levelled for a second time in the 70th minute with Pryce again on target.

The tie appeared to be heading for penalties before Wakering's Perry Dunn headed home five minutes into stoppage time to send Rovers through.

Marcus Bowers' side will now host Falmouth Town in the quarter-finals on Saturday March 9.
