SOUTHEND United goalkeeper Steve Arnold has been voted the club’s player of the year.
The Shrimpers shot-stopper picked up the award following Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Torquay United at Roots Hall.
And Blues boss Kevin Maher was quick to praise the 32-year-old.
“He’s been fantastic and I’m delighted for Steve,” said Maher.
“He’s a great character and good goalkeeper so I’m very pleased for him.”
Shrimpers striker Sam Dalby was named young player of the year after scoring 10 goals in 47 games this season.
Midfielder Noor Husin won goal of the season for his volley away at Dover Athletic in January.
